In order for me to receive all the things I want in life, I literally had to start with being the type of women who really wants to receive all those things. . . I want to feel and experience love; I have to act like the type of person who feels love in her life every single day. Because if I am acting lonely or closed off I am closing down the energies around me rather than welcoming loving energies into my life. . . If I want to be successful; I need to show up acting like someone who achieves things often. Showing up like a leader and a go-getter, rather than playing into a story that has me acting small, uncertain, and insecure. . . Or if I want the security of finances; I have to act like a wealthy woman every day, walking around with my head high and my vibe full of abundance. Instead of walking around looking at the ground, using words like “broke” and “expensive” every day. . . Who you are BEING, how you are ACTING creates your REALITY. . . Today take a step back and ask yourself ”How can I be more of the woman who has the things I desire?” And that vibration shift will align you with all that you are craving right now in your life. . . #changemakers #womenrising #coaching

Honestly, you don't need to know all the answers. You don't even need to know the HOW of that big picture-perfect vision to become your reality. And you definitely don't need to know all the detailed steps of how you are going to get there. . . All you need to know is that you are ENOUGH and all you need to do is MOVE one step at a time towards your goal. . . Have the courage to do what's right for YOU and make that courage greater than your fear of getting hurt. . . Don't be afraid to desire the things that other people say are “selfish,” “inappropriate,” “impossible” or "wrong". Your desires are Never wrong. They are a part of YOU. . . Over the years I have stored my emotions in my belly instead of expressing them. It seemed easier to store all my emotions in my belly instead of telling other people or even myself how I really felt. But in doing so it was actually detrimental to my emotional health and my physical health. . . One way I found to release all these emotions that I have stored up in my belly, is by doing a focused exercise within my stomach area. . . By taking a moment to centre my self with some deep breathing and quiet meditation, relaxing my body fully and turning off all the chatter in my brain. With my right hand on my stomach, I ask myself three times: "Please reveal to me my true emotions." And then just sit quietly listening to the answers. . . I repeat this exercise over and over again, allowing myself to drop deeper into my body each time. I notice any physical response in the stomach area, whether I have a warm, relaxed feeling in the middle of my body or if I feel tight knots in response to any emotions that do come up. . . I then write down any emotions that come up, the way my body reacted and any stories that are related to these emotions that I need to do work on. . . Since doing this simple exercise every day, I am no longer feeling bloated, I have more energy to get me through the day and I not craving comfort food as much as I use to. . . Although I have dealt with a whole load of emotions that I have been storing in my body, I am realistic that this is going to be a long ongoing process as there are years upon years of emotions that need to be realised and acknowledged. . . But through this process, I have learnt there is nothing wrong with having feelings, whatever they may be. I can't help my feelings but I can help myself by acknowledging the truth of my emotions so I can set myself free from them. . . #emotions #mindset #changemakers #journey

We live in a world where we can connect to anyone at any time, either in person or through the internet. We can connect with people we have never met before and we can connect with our loved ones within a second. I would never have thought 20 years I would be able to catch up with my son face to face by just pushing a button on my mobile phone. . . But although we have this massive opportunity to connect with anyone in the world at any time are we really making true connections. . . Have you ever spoken to someone who made you feel like you were the only person in the world at that moment? Who seemed truly engaged and interested in every word that came out of your mouth? How did that make you feel? Important? Understood? . . This is a deep connection you have been experiencing at that moment in time. And although sometimes we think it's hard to build a deep connection with every person that we meet, I use to think this too, it is in fact really easy and simple. It's a tool we all have called validation. . . Validation is just the simple act of recognising and affirming the worth of the person's emotions who you are having a connection with. "I hear you. I get what you are feeling, and it's perfectly alright to feel that way." Before offering advice or reassurance. . . By changing our first response to include that person's emotion "Wow, that would have been confusing", "He really said that? I'd be angry too!", "Ah, that is so sad." shows the other person that we have not just heard them, that in fact, we understand them. And feeling understood creates a deep connection every single time. . . #communication #connection #changemakers

Do you know what's worse than failer? Not attempting to do something at all! I almost was not going to write this post because I am fearful of someone, (someone I probably don't even know and I have never even seen let alone spoken to) will judge me as attention-seeking. But as I sit here coffee in one hand, sat in my car after taking Moose for a walk, I realised that I would regret it if I don't share this post with you. . . 3 years ago to the day I tried to end my life! I had checked out of any possibility of having a happy, fulfilling life. A life that gave me joy, passion and excitement. In my mind I slammed the door shut. . . Did I really want to die? No one commits suicide because they want to die. Then why try? Because I wanted to stop the pain. . . Now my son only ever calls if he needs money or advice (he was 19 at the time and that's what 19-year-olds do) but this time as I said hello, he said: "Mom I love you". At that moment I knew there was no way I could leave my babies without a mother, a mother they look up too, a mother they enjoy spending time with, a mother they climb into bed with and pour out their heart of all their issues in a massive about of details. . . It was that one call from my son that literally saved my life! He does not know that, well yea he knows now if he reads this. But he had no idea when he decided to call me that day that he literally saved me. . . If you are sat here today, tomorrow, next month, reading this while feel like ending it all, I know exactly how you feel. You have slammed the door shut on any prospect of living a fulfilling life for you, I get it. But here is something I want you to take away from my own personal story; Although it feels like you are not loved, there is one person out there in your life right now that loves you dearly and you mean a lot in their lives. The second thing, no matter how bad things are, everything, yes everything can be turned around and with the help of a kind hand, you can get out of the dark hole you are in right at this moment. . . On that day I wanted everything to be over but the next day I was glad I was alive, and I promise you, you will feel the same. . #mentalhealth

I just love it when my daughter uses my own tricks back onto me. Eleanor forgets to drink during the day. So I showed her trick of setting her alarm with the description drink now, to go off at certain times of the day. Now she never forgets to drink. Anyway Eleanor has just come home from school and I suggested she might like to be a little bit more quieter today as I have headache. She asked me if I have been drinking enough today? Mmmmm not sure! Was my reply. "Mum set an alarm on your phone to remind yourself to drink, come on this is easy stuff you should being doing" 😂😂😂 #changemakers #hydration #motheranddaughter #health

Woke up in a better mood and a completely different vibe this morning than I did yesterday. Even though the phone call from the doctor was not great news yesterday and I have to go back again next week as they try and figure out what's wrong with me. . . And although I should still have the fear that I had yesterday because nothing has changed, I still have no idea what is making me feel so exhausted all the time. That fear has changed into an enlightenment of freedom. . . Freedom that I am not in control of how fast I get the answers concerning my health; I am not in control of how many tests have to be carried out; I am not in control of how long it even takes to get the results from tests back. . . But what I am in control of is all the thoughts that are going whizzing through my mind; I am in control of whether I feel fear or at peace with what's going on; I am in control of hiding under the covers or getting out in the rain and stomping through the mud. . . In fact, there is much more in my control than is that I can't control. . . If you are going through a season of difficulty; your health, finances, relationship, job security. Whatever it may be. Focus on the things that you are in control of, not on the things that you are not in control of. For example, you are in control of your actions throughout the process, your thought process of how you are going to solve this situation for the better and how your body feels about the situation (stressed, or mud stomping freedom). . . Moose and I found a lovely new walk this morning across the moor, we where greeted by a deer (could not get my phone out in time to take pic before it carried on it's journey). But its mornings like this morning I feel so blessed to have moose as my walking companion. Why? Cos this morning I had so much crap going on my head, the bitchy anxiety girl was saying all sorts of shit in my head about the test results I am waiting to get back from the doctors today. So instead of climbing under the covers and sinking into a dark hole of my thoughts. Moose and I stomped and moved our body across the moor. Here is the science part of movement, our mind or brain can not control our mood when we are busy moving our body, becouse movement, getting the heart raising produces endorphins, yep the happy hormone. So by moving my body my crap mood and crappy, shitty talk that was going on by anxiety girl disappeared. The more we stomped across the moor the more my mood lifted, the happier and less anxious I felt. And then I was blessed to meet up close and personal, a adult deer, and I was in the right head space, I was present in that moment to enjoy the beauty of this mighty animal, before even thinking about taking a photo. So if your mood is crappy, you can change it, by just moving. Move your arms, walk around the office, go for a walk on your lunch break, put on some music and have a dance with yourself. It really doesn't matter what you do as long as you move your body. And just watch how your mood changes from crappy to positive. #mindset #changemakers #rewiremindset

I learnt a hard lesson over the years, if you want to disappear, you will! You’ll meet someone five or six times and they will never seem to remember meeting you. You’ll walk down streets and people will bump right into you. You’ll be looked through and talked over. . . Why? . . Because the world does not carve out a space for the voiceless. They do not roll out a red carpet and invite the invisible to parade through. . . Yes, disappearing is much easier, I have to say. It doesn’t take much energy to shut up and fade away. What’s much more challenging is acknowledging to yourself that you’re worthy of being here and facing the pain that’s required of being seen. . . When I wanted to disappear into my own shell, it was because I was waiting to live. Waiting to feel okay in my skin. Waiting to find people I could trust and open up. Waiting to live the life I wanted for myself. . . But this was a dangerous lesson in my life. It taught me that it was okay to hide, that it was okay to shrink myself down to a barely audible whisper. Hiding became a habit. . . When I realised no one knew me, although I had amazing people in my life, they actually did not know the true me. Which was around the time I was peeling back the layers of fake ass self-belief; I started to learn to value myself, to recognize my inherent worth, and I became more open. I took risks: I maintained eye contact with strangers, I smiled, I gave out information about myself without it being requested of me, I asked people out for coffee, I had a presence, I was vibrating at a higher frequency. . . And guess what started to happen? People were seeing me. At cafes, people looked me in the eye, and we made small talk, sometimes real talk. People remembered me. . . We all need to be seen. It’s part of what makes us human. When we don’t allow ourselves to be seen, we diminish our importance in this world. We undervalue ourselves. We hold ourselves back from greatness. We stifle our contributions. And it just plain doesn’t feel good. . . If you’re hiding right now, please come out. We’re all here, waiting to meet you 😃 . . #changemakers #mindset #coaching
