Unfortunately stress is becoming more and more part of our everyday lives these days. With the state of our health becoming more and more effected by the different types and amount of stress we experience. Which is why it’s important to try and make our lives as stress free as we can and aromatherapy essential oils can especially help us reduce the amount of stress we are increasingly becoming exposed too.
There are various types and degrees of stress and sometimes these different types of stress can exacerbate each other. For example; The environmental stress you suffer at work can cause mental which when taken home, can lead to emotional stress.

Environmental Stress – can be caused by bright lights over your desk, noise of machinery, the constant ringing of the phone or too cramped office space

Level 1 (Blend 1) : starts as tiredness and develops into irritability, headaches and insomnia.
Level 2 (Blend 2) : depression, anxiety, muscular pain, chronic aches, persistent infections, guilt, apathy, helplessness.
Level 3 (Blend 3) : persecution complex, despair, increasing guilt and depression, susceptibility to viral /bacterial infection.
Level 4 (blend 4) : unexplained pain, heart problems, strokes and high blood pressure, ulcers.
Using essential oils can help alleviate the stresses along side other effective relaxation techniques such as; A monthly massage or aromatherapy treatment helps to keep on an even keel. Sport and exercise also help tremendously if you are suffering from physical stress and also some people have found working out at a gym or going to yoga are effective for working off tension from work.
The most important thing is, you make yourself priority by planning things around your personal requirements, learning to say no and delegating, after all we are not supper human. Set a period of time during the day which you cannot be interrupted, turn your mobile to silent and spend time doing something you enjoy.
